Join Meg on Friday, March 13 from 12pm-2pm EST on Zoom for Too Tired For Words , a gentle, generative online writing workshop for exhausted people.
What it is: A generative creative writing workshop focused on reflection and connection.
Who it is for: No writing experience is needed, and writers of any and all genres are welcome. New, nervous and neurodivergent writers welcome. This is a perfect space for folks who might like to share their newly created words, and hold space for others to do the same.
What you can expect: A small group. (Max 12 people.) A welcome from Meg, a chance to intro yourself (with guidance,) creative writing invitations that are open to interpretation, quiet writing time, opportunities to share what you write, gentle and positive feedback if you want it. We take a short break about halfway through the session.
What we expect: This really is a “come as you are,” situation. Cameras on or off are fine. You can share in the chat, or out loud. You can not share at all. You can ask for responses to your work, or silence after you read. The vibe is cozy and gentle.
Supplies: Pen and paper, or whatever you like writing with. Headphones if you’re sharing space with others, to maintain privacy for folks sharing their work.
Cost: Sliding scale $25, $40, $55 CAD. You can learn more about accessing sliding scale pricing here.
Please note that although this event is offered on a sliding scale, I acknowledge commodifying community and creativity is problematic. If the $25 access rate is not, in fact, accessible for you, I would love for you to join as my guest. No questions asked. Please reach out for a code to register without fee.
